   Orckit-Corrigent Carrier Ethernet + Transport (CE+T) solutions provide a myriad of residential triple-play, enterprise VPN and mobile backhauling applications, addressing metro area networks.
While maintaining telecom grade quality, the CE+T solution  introduces radically new economics that enable profitable delivery of packet services as well as legacy TDM services in a converged networking infrastructure.
   The CE+T breakthrough architecture solves the metro aggregation network dilemma for service providers worldwide by allowing them to bridge their existing SONET/SDH infrastructure with next-generation, packet-based, data, voice and video services. In doing so, it lowers both capital expenditures and operating expenses, while creating revenue-generating opportunities.
   Orckit-Corrigent CM-100 and CM-4000 CE+T products are ideally suited for the delivery of Ethernet services. KDDI, a leading Japanese telecom service provider, selected the CM-100 product line for a nationwide metro build-up to support high bandwidth, packet-based services. KDDI is using CM-100 products for quadruple play services that include Internet access, VoIP, telco TV and cellular services over a unified network.
   In 2008, Media Broadcast GmbH selected Orckit-Corrigent CM-100 and CM-4000 product lines as a main network infrastructure building block for network solutions deployed by Deutsche Telekom's  holesale business unit and leased to a leading cable operator in Germany. This long-term agreement marks the first selection of Corrigent products by a cable network operator and opens important new markets for its products and technologies.
   The latest CE+T customers include SK Broadband (formerly Hanaro), a Korean service provider that deploys IPTV network, and MetroNet, a Mexican carrier, that offers carrier Ethernet connectivity services.
   Orckit is continuing its evaluation of new technologies and related product opportunities and is engaging in extensive new technology research and development activities.
