The London Stock Exchange, or LSE, is a stock exchange based in London, United Kingdom. Founded in 1801, it is one of the world's largest stock exchanges, listing British and international companies. The LSE is part of the London Stock Exchange Group plc. AIM, which was launched in 1995, is LSE's market for smaller growing companies. AIM attracts companies from varying sectors and countries, ranging from new to established, all of which have a dynamic outlook and a strong ambition to expand their business.
